Read carefully because this is the answer: NUTRITION. Yes, you just read nutrition. If you want the best results, you need to keep an eye on your nutrition.
Do you see I didn’t write DIET, but NUTRITION. A diet doesn’t work. When you change your habits and make better selections with your food you will get better results. This is the key. It’s a lifestyle change, not a short-term fix.
The best way to start is by reducing your portions. Most people eat far too much, and even if you make good choices and eat healthy foods, if you eat too much of them you’ll still take in too many calories. Plus, one reason diets don’t work is people start to miss their favorite foods. Keep a little of your favorites, but only a little!
There’s some tricks to reducing your portions – try using a smaller plate – it makes a small portion seem like more! And, try to eat little and often, with several small meals through the day. That way you don’t ever sit down to a meal when you are ravenous!
